LPC Spectrum Analyzer Software

The software displays a high resolution spectrum from transient signals including bird call, voice, impact sound and seismic wave using LPC (Linear Predictive Coefficient) spectrum analysis.
We can detect minute frequency changes in transient signals.

This is a software package that executes 64-bit parallel processing using multiple CPUs.

Sound Recognition Software using Two-dimensional GD

The software numerically evaluates the degree of likeness between the input pattern and the standard pattern using a new similarity scale called the GD, and recognizes the sound in the following process.
(1) The software segments a waveform of the target sound automatically from a continuous recording.
(2) The software extracts a spectrum pattern from the segmented waveform.
(3) The software matches the above spectrum pattern (input pattern) with a previously registered spectrum pattern (standard pattern) using the similarity scale, and calculates a distance.
After the above processing, as a result of the recognition, the software displays the standard pattern having the smallest distance from the input pattern.
The software recognizes transient signals such as bird calls, voices and impact sounds using Two-dimensional GD.

Abnormal Sound Detection Software using One-dimensional GD

The software operates as an apparatus for detecting abnormal sound generated by a machine in motion and judging wrong in machine. We provide the apparatus (PC + microphone + software) which can detect abnormal sound in noisy environments.
The software is applicable to the apparatus which monitors sounds generated by “a railway bogie” during running or “an electric generator(windmill)” in motion.
The One-dimensional GD is suitable for steady-state signals such as machine sound.

Convolution Software for a Deep Learning using Geometric Distance

For convolutional neural network (CNN) in deep learning, a new convolution called the Geometric Distance has been developed.
The GD numerically evaluates the degree of likeness between the input image (or Two-dimensional sound spectrum) and the filter on a convolution layer.

Parallel Processing Software using Multiple CPUs

A single PC has multiple CPUs (2-18 cores). In order to accelerate processing, a single software can use these CPUs simultaneously.
In Windows® 10, the task manager shows the performance of the CPUs in percentage.
We have the software which detects the number of CPUs automatically and executes parallel processing using them.
